Our Story
Autonoleggio Amico was founded in 2004 in Trento by Michele Morea, who still drives personally and handles every request first-hand. We are not a large transport corporation and we have no intention of becoming one. We are a family-run, owner-operated company where client relationships are personal and direct. When you call us, you speak with the person who will organise your journey. That is our strength: knowing who is on board, understanding their needs and delivering a service that truly works.
Our Team
The Autonoleggio Amico team is made up of local drivers with over twenty years of experience on the mountain roads of Trentino and the Dolomites. They know every pass, every shortcut and every scenic viewpoint. They speak Italian, English, German and French, welcoming international guests with the same care they give to locals. Every driver is a trained professional with a commercial licence and full legal compliance, but above all they are people who love this territory and know how to share it naturally with those who travel with us.
Our Vehicles: All Company-Owned
Every vehicle in our fleet is owned by Autonoleggio Amico. We do not hire vehicles from third parties, we do not subcontract and we do not use middlemen. This allows us to control the quality of every journey directly: constant maintenance, thorough cleaning, full winter equipment. The fleet includes 56-seat Mercedes and Scania Gran Turismo coaches, 30-seat minibuses and latest-generation 9-seat vans.
From Trento, at the Heart of the Dolomites
Our base is in Trento, at Via Vittime delle Foibe 14 — a strategic position at the centre of Trentino-South Tyrol, from which we reach the Dolomites, Lake Garda and the main northern Italian airports quickly. This location makes us particularly competitive for airport transfers and Dolomites tours.
